Ray Nosler's '67 NASCAR Nova

This car originally showed up at Chandler Chassis Concepts to install a front end and the RCR Nascar motor.  Because of massive amounts of rust and prior repairs every piece of sheetmetal was replaced except for the roof skin.  Next came the chassis which involved replacing rotted frame rails with 1-3/4" round tubing, DSE mini tubs, and Chandler Chassis Concepts fabricated 9" housing with custom triangulated 4-link. The Chandler Chassis Concepts front end houses the 358 cu in RCR motor with FAST EFI and a Tremec TKO600 5-speed transmission.  We used DuPont ChromaPremier black with a metallic bronze stripe and ChromaPremier 72500 clear coat.  Car made its debut at the 22nd Annual Street Machine Nationals in Little Rock Arkansas bringing home an Editors Choice Top 5 award.

Custom Features:
  • Custom fabricated stainless steel headers and 3" stainless exhaust
  • 2000 Camaro Doorhandles
  • Funtional cold air intake box
  • Front and rear bumpers narrowed and moved in
  • Fabricated lower valance
  • Fabricated aluminum core support to house the Nascar radiator
  • Fabricated dry sump, power steering, and surge tanks
